Safer and More Reliable
CATL LFP batteries are far and away safer and more reliable than traditional NCM batteries. In thermal runaway tests where batteries are pushed to their limits, NCM batteries generate up to six times (6x) more heat than LFP batteries. They are more likely to spark and catch fire. By comparison, CATL LFP batteries give off a slight wisp of smoke before cooling back down

CATL's unique self-healing technology enables its batteries to run for more cycles, charging, discharging, and recharging a far greater number of times than competing battery brands.
Higher Energy Density
